This place was amazing! The people who work here are so kind and the food is 10/10! My friends and I love this place so much! Great deals on food and drinks thought the week and very friendly service. Clean, delicious food and yummy margaritas. One of my favorite Mexican spots around UK campus. Would recommend!!

I do travel outside the state. It can be challenging to find a restaurant that offers quality food at reasonable prices. Some of the highly-rated restaurants and franchises do not meet expectations even at higher cost. Oh my goodness! This place! I really enjoyed my visit to El Charro! The food was fantastic; I especially loved the pork belly tacos and plan to order a dozen on my next visit. The spicy jalapeno crema was outstanding, as was the chipotle sauce. While the chips were good, I suggest adding more heat to the salsa dip. I understand some people may not be able to handle the spice, but that’s not a concern of mine. After all, a Mexican restaurant isn’t complete without this signature dip, which also has its own natural health benefits. I am thankful for both the food and the experience, and I look forward to returning.
Great service and food. Ordered the pineapple chicken this time. It was fantastic! Totally surprised, don’t hesitate to try it!
I’ve now tried 2 of this restaurants locations and this one is by far so much better! We had the enchiladas supremas which comes with 4 different enchiladas, the chicken was slightly dry but besides that the rest were excellent. I went back later that night and bought 4 of their asada fries, they were delicious! Both of my orders we’re ready by the time I got there and the service was phenomenal. Thank you Flor for making this an excellent experience, we will definitely be returning to El Charro.
I had an absolutely amazing experience here at this particular location. I came here to enjoy my birthday lunch and had a wonderful time. The owner Mrs.Martha was so sweet and our server Mrs.Betty was a 10/10. She was very sweet. Not to mention the drinks are amazing!!! I definitely recommend this place especially for happy hourrr!! I will definitely be returning!
